Alexander von Uslar is to leave Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) by amicable agreement on 31 December 2017 in order to take on new tasks. At its meeting today, Friday, the Supervisory Board approved a termination agreement to that effect. As part of this decision the Bank's Group Board of Managing Directors will be reduced in size from seven to six members.
»As a Board member with responsibility for Finance and Information Technology Mr von Uslar has contributed to LBBW's good performance,« said Christian Brand, Chairman of LBBW's Supervisory Board. »Over the past years Mr von Uslar has pushed ahead decisively with the strategically important task of restructuring the IT landscape and implementing major regulatory projects, in particular. On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board I would like to express my thanks to Mr von Uslar for his great commitment and wish him the very best both professionally and personally.« »I want to pursue my professional career closer to the center of my family's life in Munich again,« stated Mr von Uslar. »I would like to thank the Supervisory Board, my colleagues on the Board of Managing Directors and all my colleagues at LBBW for working with me in a spirit of mutual trust.« Effective 1 January 2018 LBBW Board member Rainer Neske will take over the strategically important central areas of Finance and Information Technology.
