The Mercosur trade agreement needs to be adopted at last. Europe needs open markets.

The EU economy relies heavily on exports, and the global trend towards deglobalization poses a significant challenge for them. All the more urgent it would be to secure strong economic relations through free trade agreement with key partners. But the EU is currently squandering these too. The latest victim of European dithering might be the trade negotiations with Mercosur.
